Cape Town – the “Mother City” of South Africa. Meet and greet by your local guide and start your day with a visit to the Ostrich Farm. You will be taken on a guided tour to learn about the breeding and ranching of these fascinating birds. Next, if weather permits, proceed on to the cable car station where you will have the opportunity reaching the top of the world famous Table Mountain. Enjoy the crisp air as you savour what must be an experience of a lifetime.

This morning, depart on a full day tour of the Cape Peninsula. Travel via various suburbs, such as Sea Point, Clifton overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Stop at Camps Bay to view the Twelve Apostles. Embark on a boat ride (if weather permits) to Duiker Island (Seal Island) at Hout Bay to see the thousands of Cape Fur Seals that congregate there. Next visit the Mineral World, a gemstone factory. After lunch, drive past Simon’s Town, an old naval base to the Boulders Beach and meet the large colony of African penguins. Continue to drive along False Bay to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve before reaching Cape Point and ascend by funicular to the highest point, where the famous lighthouse of Cape Point stands.

Today we will drive to the famous Stellenbosch Wine Route well known for its high quality table wines. Enjoy wine tasting and make use of this perfect opportunity to stock-up your wine cellar as you call on one of South Africa’s foremost wine estate.

After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to Johannesburg. Upon arrival, proceed on a tour to the Gold Reef City, which is a reconstruction of Johannesburg during the gold rush era. Take a tour down to an old gold mineshaft to learn how gold was extracted in the past. Thereafter continue with a Pretoria city tour the administrative capital of South Africa and renowned for its colorful gardens, shrubs and trees. Your city tour will bring you to visit the Voortrekker Monument, which dominates the Pretoria skyline, drive pass the Church Square and Union Buildings the site of the inauguration of President Mbeki and Mr Mandela. Depart to Sun City, a premier holiday resort in South Africa.

This morning, proceed to the Game Reserve. Lunch is served upon arrival. In the late afternoon, set out in Open-Top Bush Vehicles for a guided game drive through the Park with an opportunity to see Africa Big Five (Lion, Elephant, Rhinoceros, Buffalo & Leopard) and photograph the abundant wildlife at close range while your ranger explains the animal survival tactics in the wilderness and witness the breathtaking African sunset along the way. Next, return back to the lodge for dinner.
