3 Hours Before Flight Time
Today, assemble at Changi Airport for your flight to Chengdu. Upon arrival, check into hotel.
Take a domestic flight to Nyingchi. Arriving in Bayi Town, enjoy a traditional Tibetan welcome.
Drive over Sejila Pass, with breathtaking views of Namcha Barwa peak—one of China’s most beautiful mountains.
Visit Sejila Scenic Area, Lulang Forest, and Nyingchi Pasture.
En route to Bomi County, stop at Guxiang Lake to admire Gangyun fir forest.
Arrive in Zamut Town, Bomi County.
Note: Groups departing before 20 April will visit Nyingchi Peach Blossom Valley—full of blooms, snow-capped mountains, and the Nyang River.
Visit Ranwu Lake, a high-altitude glacial lake at 3850m with azure waters and lush forest.
Proceed to Midui Glacier—Tibet’s most significant oceanic glacier and the world’s lowest-elevation glacier.
(Option: 2–3 hr horseback ride or hike at your own pace.)
Return to Zamut Town.
Note: Horseback ride ~150–200 RMB. Due to terrain, not recommended.
Travel to Bayi Town, Nyingchi—renowned for its evergreen beauty.
Enjoy Luorong Stone Pot Chicken for lunch.
Visit the 2500-year-old Nyingchi Cypress King and Giant Cypress Forest.
Tour Bayi Town.
Visit Basong Co (Cogo Lake), nicknamed “Little Switzerland”.
Raft to the lake’s central “Immortal Island” for sightseeing and hiking.
Cross 5230m Mila Pass, pass Mozhugongka and Dazhi Plain.
Arrive in Lhasa via Nyangqu River Valley.
Stops include Taizhao Ancient City, Zhongliu Di Zhu, Apeixin Village, and Bangjie Tang Grassland.
Visit Potala Palace, former winter residence of the Dalai Lama.
Tour Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street—Lhasa’s pedestrian market for handicrafts.
Ascend 4900m Gangbala Pass.
Visit Yamdrok Tso—the “Heavenly Lake”—with clear waters, snow mountains, and vast skies.
Return to Lhasa via Yarlung Tsangpo River.
Visit Sera Monastery, and possibly witness a live “lama debate”.
Board the Qinghai-Tibet Railway—the world’s highest—for a scenic ride to Xining.
Meals not included onboard (purchase available).
Route highlights: Qiangtang Plateau, Tsona Lake, Tanggula Mountains, Hoh Xil Reserve, Kunlun Mountains, Qinghai Lake, Gobi Desert.
Journey: ~1972 km, ~24 hours.
Arrive in Xining.
Drive past Yuzhu Mountain (3520m) to Qinghai Lake—China’s largest inland saltwater lake.
Return to Xining and, if time allows, explore local markets.
Fly from Xining to Beijing, then connect back to Singapore.
Note: If returning via Chengdu, the trip extends to 11 days. Overnight in Chengdu, free leisure time, and return to Singapore on Day 11.
