3 Hours Before Flight Time
Hailar is known as the “Pearl City of the Grassland” in Inner Mongolia. It is located in the northeastern part of Inner Mongolia, the western foot of the Greater Khingan Range, and the hinterland of the Hulunbuir Grassland. It is connected to the Northeast Economic Zone in the east and Russia and Mongolia in the north. Because the Hailar River flows through the territory, the city is named after the river.
Hulunbuir Grassland is a world-famous natural pasture, one of the four largest grasslands in the world, and is known as the best grassland in the world.

The Mongolians living on the Inner Mongolia grasslands are warm and hospitable. They like horse riding and drinking. You will be treated with a local traditional drink: “Dismounting wine.”
Optional: Watch the sunrise on the grassland (if weather permits).
Take an off-road vehicle through the heart of Hulunbuir grassland, get close to cattle and sheep, photo stop at Hulun Lake Cliff.
Proceed to Manzhouli — located in the heart of Hulunbuir grassland in Inner Mongolia, with Xing’an Mountains to the east, Hulun Lake to the south, Mongolia to the west, and Russia to the north.
Exterior view: Matryoshka Square, national gate, Sino-Sujin Street. Drive pass Manzhouli night view (weather-dependent).
Visit Heishantou Horse Farm — one of the earliest horse farms since the opening of border tourism.
Ergun Wetland (eco bus included) — the largest wetland in China preserved in its original state, known as “No. 1 Wetland in Asia.”
Scenic rivers, lakes, seasonal vegetation. Activities: bird watching, photography, ecological adventures.
The Birch Forest Scenic Area (eco car included), located in Ergun, covers nearly 1,000 hectares. Birch trees are known as the “pure love tree,” with white and straight trunks.
Pass through Enhe Russian National Township (rural scenery), then to Shiwei — hometown of Chinese and Russian descendants, top ten charming towns in China.
Separated from Russian town Olochi by a river.
Visit exterior of Shiwei Port, Friendship Bridge, and free time at Jiehe Pedestrian Street.
After breakfast, begin one-day ecological tour.
Pass Linjiang village near Russian border, drive along G331 National Road, cross Jiliu River — northernmost primitive forest river in China.
After lunch, cross northernmost forest area and enter Mohe.
Visit Arctic Village Scenic Area (car included).
The village is China’s northernmost point. Visit Arctic Village Monument, Shenzhou Arctic Square (stone tablet symbol).
China’s northernmost post office (complimentary postcard).
Enjoy the scenery, folk customs, fresh air, pleasant environment.
Visit Cold Pole Square, photo stop at Cold Pole Point.
Admire the natural scenery of Daxinganling Mountains.
Visit Aoluguya Hunter Township — feed reindeer. This is China’s last reindeer tribe, migrated from Baikal Lake Basin in the 17th century to Greater Khingan forest.
They live on hunting and reindeer breeding and preserve “reindeer culture.”
Visit Genghis Khan Square — largest square in Hulunbuir, named after the great Genghis Khan.
Free time at Hailar Ancient City.
After breakfast, free at leisure until the designated time for our flight back to Singapore.
