Day 1SINGAPORE - MILAN

Assemble at Singapore Changi International Airport for your flight to Nice, the beautiful city in Southern France that was also recently titled a UNESCO world heritage site.

Day 2MILAN - NICE

(Dinner)

Upon arriving in Milan, we will begin our French riveria journey with a ride down to Nice, Free at own leisure before we make our way for our dinner.

Day 3NICE

(Breakfast / Dinner)

This morning, visit Eze, a beautiful hilltop medieval village which overlooks the French Riviera. Thereafter, we shall immerse ourselves in Nice’s history on Place Garibaldi in the Old Town and marvel at the modern New Town as you stroll along the Promenade des Arts, home to the Modern Art Museum, Sosno’s library and the Acropolis Centre. Next, is the well-known St Nicholas Cathedral, located in the city of Nice which was opened in 1912, thanks to the genorisity of Tsar Nicholas II, it is the largest Russian Orthodox Cathedral outside of Russia.

Day 4NICE - CANNES - MARSEILLE

Today, we shall head to Cannes, a resort town well known for its beautiful beaches and also the international Film Festival. Take some time to explore the Le Suquet, also known as the old quarters. After lunch, drive down to Marseille – the administrative capital of the Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azur region and also the largest commercial port in France. Our highlights in Marseille is the Notre Dame de la Garde, 19th Century Basilica offering an exceptional view of the city, the islands of the Frioul and the castle. Next, we pass by the Historical Monument to the villages of traditional fishermen of Callelongue and Goudes.

Day 5MARSEILLE - AIX EN PROVENCE - AVIGNON

After breakfast, we shall continue our journey to Aix En Provence. Our orientation tour in Aix-En-Provence this morning will reveal that Aix is a vibrant student city abundant in elegant 19th Century architecture. See Place de la Rotonde and the Cours Mirabeau, naturally steaming warm water fountains and wonderful shops and boutiques. Then, we continue to Avignon. Here, we shall revisit the captivating religious history of Avignon, which was once the medieval capital of the Western World and a UNESCO World Heritage City. Today, we shall visit the awe-inspiring Palace of the Popes, the Papal residence during the 14th century. The Palace was built in less then 20 years, starting in 1335.

Day 6AVIGNON - NARBONNE - CARCASSONNE

This morning, we will head to Narbonne, a hidden gem of France which was formerly a Roman seaport. Narbonne is Super Travel’s exclusive destination for Singapore travellers and our tour highlights feature the amazing Narbonne Cathedral and its neighbouring Palais des Archevêques. Take some time to enjoy the beautiful sights in the city. Then, head to the famous Carcassonne, which is perhaps popularised by the board game of the same name. Regardless of how you may know the place, Carcassonne is truly a sight to behold, where the fortified city still has its many towers and walls intact and preserved to this day. Notable sights of the city includes the Pont Vieux which connects the city to the mainland across the Aude River, and the Carcassonne Cathedral and Basilica of St Nazarius and Celsus.

Day 7CARCASSONNE - TOULOUSE - BORDEAUX

This morning after breakfast, we shall continue our journey to Toulouse. Toulouse on the Garonne river, is on the site of an ancient Roman settlement; even today many of the smaller streets follow their Roman counterparts and many of the red brick buildings are of a pseudo-Roman style. These buildings are also what gives Toulouse its nickname La ville rose (The pink city). one thing in Toulouse not to miss and worth visiting will be The Capitole. The complex hosts the City Hall and the National Theatre of Toulouse. This is, in fact, the heart of the historic city. Since its foundation in 1190, the Capitole of Toulouse is the main part of the town and has changed the face of Toulouse old town. Journeying through Les Landes, we arrive in the wine capital of Bordeaux, whose stunning Garonne riverfront and Age of Enlightenment history and architecture have made it one of France’s most visited cities. Bordeaux wine has been produced in the region since the 8th century and the biannual wine fair attracts buyers from all over the world. We will be visiting one of the vineyard and experience their wine before we spend some time seeing the sights during your orientation of the city

Day 8BORDEAUX - SAINTES - NANTES

After breakfast, we shall leave Bordeaux as we continue to Nantes. Along the way, we will stop by Saintes, where we can see some of the ruins of former Roman period. Upon arriving at Nantes, we can see the Loire estuary, the longest river in France and last wild river in Europe. Visit the Château des ducs de Bretagne (Castle of the Dukes of Brittany). Set in the historic heart of Nantes, the Château des ducs de Bretagne is the city’s most important historic building, along with the Cathedral St. Pierre. When looking at it from the city, it is a fortress with 500 metres of curtain walls punctuated by seven towers, all linked by a sentry walkway. Thereafter, continue to Nantes for our overnight stay.

Day 9NANTES - MONT ST MICHEL - CAEN

Today, we shall visit one of the highlight of this itinerary, Mont Saint Michel. Set in the mesmerising bay where Normandy and Brittany merge, the island draws the eye from great distances.  Enjoy the magnificent view of Mont Saint Michel before we move on to Caen.

Day 10CAEN - ROUEN - PARIS

(Hot buffet breakfast)

After breakfast, we shall continue our journey to the inspiration of the fashion world Paris via Rouen. view the magnificent Saint-Ouen Abbey Church, Place du Vieux Marché to snap some shots of Joan of Arc and walk along the streets to the Parliament of Normandy and see The Gros-Horloge astronomical clock as well as the majestic Notre-Dame Cathedral. Thereafter, continue to Paris. In the mid 19th century, Baron Haussmann transformed much of medieval Paris into a modern city; See all the main sights in Paris today that will cover the glorious Arc De Triomphe that was erected in 1806 as a memorial to his victorious army. Next, we proceed to one of the largest squares in the world – Place de La Concorde. We then drive down the bustling Champs Elysees. Our greatest highlight for the day is the famous Eiffel Tower! Take a lift up to the 2nd level for a charming panorama of Paris. Continue to the grand Notre Dame and pass by the Louvre Museum and its glittering Glass Pyramid. Thereafter, enjoy your time at the biggest departmental in Paris – Galleries La Fayette.

(Eiffel tower will be replaced by Montparnasse Tower  without any prior notice when met into unforeseen circumstances). No disputes will be entertain.

Day 11PARIS

Today, free at your own leisure. You may want take up a self expense tour to explore more in depth of Paris. For the shopaholics, you may just want to shop till you drop at Galleries Lafeyette. At night, you may want to consider enjoying a cabaret show.

Day 12PARIS - SINGAPORE

Free at leisure till transfer to the airport for your departure flight back home to Singapore.
