Travel to Salzburg for a fascinating walking tour of a city that featured in ‘The Sound of Music’. View Mozart’s birthplace and family house in Getreidegasse, and the Domplatz dominated by Salzburg Cathedral.

This morning, drive to Innsbruck via Wattens. Visit the biggest Swarovski Showroom, The Kristallwelten before we continue to Innsbruck. Here, you will embark on a short orientation tour that includes views of the Old Town, Hofburg Palace and the ornate Golden Roof, built to commemorate the wedding of Emperor Maximilian I. Spend your free time exploring Innsbruck’s iconic sites and delving into Tyrol’s complex history and culture, or simply relax and admire this dazzling city with its magnificent Alpine backdrop.

This morning we continue on our journey to our next stop – St Moritz. Switzerland’s original winter wonderland and the cradle of Alpine tourism, St Moritz has been luring royals, celebrities and moneyed wannabes since 1864. With its shimmering aquamarine lake, emerald forests and aloof mountains, the town looks a million dollars. Transfer to Lucerne thereafter.

An orientation tour in Lucerne includes a photostop at the Lion Monument – a masterful stone sculpture in honour of the heroic Swiss Guards of Louis XVI during the French Revolution. Next, visit the renovated 14th Century covered wooden Chapel Bridge which depicts the local history. Some free time to shop for delectable chocolate and glamorous Swiss watches in Bucherer, one of Europe’s biggest watch and jewellery retail chains. Bucherer today offers an international clientele probably the largest choice of Rolex watches anywhere and a wide choice of luxury watches from well-known brands.

Transfer to Milan – Capital of Italy’s finance and fashion industries. Upon arrival, start our sightseeing in Milan which brings us to the Gothic Cathedral and the famous La Scala Opera House. Not to be missed is the Milan Duomo Square which is the core of Milan. Some free time for you to shop at the famous 19th Century Gallery Victor Emmanuel 2nd, a large glass-roofed building often called the living room of Milan, enhanced by the elegance of some of Milan’s finest stores.
