Upon arrival, continue to board a domestic flight to Kirkenes (Lapland), Norway. Your day as a King Crab Fisherman has arrived! A totally unforgettable experience awaits you on the frozen fjords of Kirkenes. This is your chance to learn how to catch, cook, and most importantly EAT this mysterious creature. In this ultimate King Crab Fishing experience, you will be taken by snowmobile sledge out on the fjord ice. Here you will take part in the entire experience of catching the giant and seeing how it is prepared.

Today, excitement awaits as arrive at the Husky Dog Farm where we visit our warm friendly friends and learn more about the life of these Arctic dogs. Our friendly guide will educate us about their training routine, lifestyle and habits. The main highlight will definitely be the Husky’s Sledge Dog Ride as we are greeted by welcoming barks from those warm and friendly Huskies, hop onto the sledge and the Huskies work together just to show you around. Cross the Arctic Circle through the vast open wilderness and we shall arrive at a reindeer farm where a welcoming hot drink will be served as we gather around an open fire to learn more about the life working in a Reindeer Farm from the herdsmen. Soak in the vibrant culture of Lapland as you witness the traditional Lappish welcome ceremony. A day full of magical moments will end with a thrilling Reindeer Sledge Ride.

Get up close and personal with the Nordic and Arctic animals as we make our way to Rauna Wildlife Park. The park offers you with the rare chance to have a closer interaction with unique animals native only to the Arctic Region, such as the Snowy Owl, Great Grey Owl, Raven, Roe Deer, Arctic Fox, Otter and many other fascinating animals. Bring home not only bountiful knowledge and a deeper understanding of the native wildlife but also souvenirs from shopping during the allocated free time. Tonight, we will be staying in the renowned Glass Igloo to experience the unique opportunity to sleep under the Lovely Lapp Sky whilst admiring the World’s Most Amazing Natural Phenomenon – Aurora Borealis (Also called the Nordic Light) in the comfort of a heated accommodation. Tonight, enjoy a hearty dinner before we retire for the night.

After breakfast, continue our beautiful journey to Santa Claus Village where you can peruse through the numerous souvenir shops and send a postcard from the Santa’s Main Post Office to receive a special Arctic Circle stamp. You will also be awarded with an Arctic Circle Crossing Certificate as proof of your journey across the Arctic Circle. Not forgetting your meeting with Santa Claus in the Christmas House of the Santa Claus Holiday Village.

Enjoy the day at your leisure in Lapland. There are so many things that you can only do when it’s really, truly cold outside – from playing in the snow to all of the adrenaline activities. You will be impressed by the offerings there whilst you ski on those uncrowded slopes or simply stare up at the sky hoping for aurora borealis.

After breakfast, bid farewell to Rovaniemi as we head back to Helsinki. Upon arrival, proceed to hotel for check-in.

This morning, embark on an orientation tour to the Senate Square, Market Square, the Sibelius Monument and the world famous Church in the Rock. Be entralled by the famous Temppelaukio architectural designs of the Finlandia Hall of Congress, the Concert Center and the Post Office Mansion. If time permits, you may want to shop at the famous Itakeshus Shopping Center or simply soak in the Christmas atmosphere by making a Trip to the Christmas Market.

Free at leisure till transfer to the airport for your flight back to Singapore. You may consider to participate in an optional excursion to the nostalgic warehouses in old quaint town of Porvoo and/or take a ferry to the nearby sea fortress UNESCO World Heritage Suomelinna. Alternatively, embark on a day trip to capital of Estonia – Tallin.
