Today, set out for an Indigenous dogsledge tour. Watch as your guides take the excited dogs one by one from the dog kennels and harness them up to the sled. You will team up the dogs and head out on the frozen lake for a 30-minute dog ride along a secluded and well-maintained dog trail. Thereafter, our guide will provide an interpretation during the city tour. You will visit NWT Legislative assembly, Prince of Wales museum, NWT Diamond Center, have a scenic drive through downtown, Old Town and visit Pilot’s monument where you can overlook the city of Yellowknife. Tonight, continue to the Aboriginal village and spend 3 – 4 hrs on the shoreline of Great Slave lake with wood stove cabin viewing the spectacular Northern Lights.
