3 Hours Before Flight Time
Depart from Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Vancouver. Upon arrivaL, we shall enjoy our Vancouver city tour. Follow the footstep of the Chinese heritage and visit Chinatown, where you will find the shallowest commercial building in the world, Sam Kee Building. Explore Gastown, the oldest neighborhood. Catch the Steam Clock whistles! Discover the downtown landmarks: Canada Place, Vancouver Convention Center, Olympic Cauldron. Take a refreshing break at Vancouver’s first and largest urban park, Stanley Park. Experience first nation’s culture at Brockton Point where nine totem poles stand. View the Lions Gate Bridge and Burrard Inlet in distance. Shop at Robson Street, where you fall in love with the shopping paradise. Step onto the highest point in Vancouver, Queen Elizabeth Park for some spectacular city view and landscapes.
Depart for Vancouver Island by ferry and capture the spectacular scenery en route. After passing by Victoria’s historic Chinatown, visit Beacon Hill park’s remarkable Mile ‘0’ landmark, British Colombia Legislative Buildings, and explore other significant heritage architectures surrounding the Inner Harbour. Visit the world famous Butchart Gardens before returning to Vancouver.
This morning, we will start our journey via the trans-Canada highway and head east for Kelowna, the heart of the Okanagan Valley. Stop at the renowned winery to learn about the basics of wine making. Wine tasting and purchasing of the popular icewine, red or white wine will be available. At Lake Okanagan, let us listen to its legendary story and search for lake monster “Ogopogo.” Settle down at the Revelstoke in the evening.
Arrive at Canada’s Banff National Park via Rogers Pass and Yoho National Park. An eye-opening Gondola Ride will captivate you with the majestic views of the Rocky Mountains. Passing by Vermilion Lakes, visit Bow Falls which was also featured in 1953 Marilyn Monroe starred movie River of No Return. Stroll along Banff Avenue where you will find myriad of art galleries, trendy shops and boutiques in the highest town of Canada in elevation.
After passing by the Castle Mountain, explore a combination of unspoiled wilderness, beautiful chateau, snowcapped mountains and modern amenities along shores of the dazzling Lake Louise. Then, start our glacier adventure to the Columbia Icefield at Jasper National Park. Ride on the massive Ice Explorer (admission optional) to trek onto the surface of the stunning Athabasca Glacier. Continue our excitement to Glacier Skywalk above the Sunwapta Falls, a glass-floored observation deck separating you from wildlife roaring below and the breathtaking glacial vistas. Passing by Bow Lake and Crowfoot Glacier, overnight stay in Golden.
Proceed to Eagle Pass and visit the Last Spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway. Head west to BC interiors and arrive in Kamloops, a city with over 2000 hours of sunshine each year. Visit the only GMP certified Ginseng factory and learn about manufacture and the amazing healing power of Ginseng. After passing by the District of Hope, where Sylvester Stallone filmed First Blood in 1982 and Hunter’s Creek, return to Vancouver by late afternoon.
Whistler is a popular year-round destination with endless sightseeing and mountain resorts in North America. The excitement starts before reaching the village as you can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the Sea to Sky Highway, passing through Horseshoe Bay, Squamish and Shannon Falls, the third tallest waterfalls in BC. At Whistler, the co-host city of the 2010 Winter Olympics, wander around the pedestrian-only Swiss-setting alpine village. Be amazed at the awe-inspiring scenery of thrilling trails and evergreen forests. Enjoy our special arrangement to the Sea to Sky Gondola* (optional) near Squamish instead. Take a breathtaking views of mountains and ocean below. Take the gondola* (optional) up the mountain peak. Then, try the world record breaking Peak2Peak Gondola* (optional) for a 11-min, 4.4km scenic journey between Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. Capture the spectacular views of the surroundings.
After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight home.
