Welcome to Madrid. Madrid, Spain’s central capital, is a city of elegant boulevards and expansive, manicured parks such as the Buen Retiro. It is renowned for its rich repositories of European art, including the Prado Museum’s works by Goya, Velázquez and other Spanish masters. The heart of old Hapsburg Madrid is the portico-lined Plaza Mayor, and nearby is the baroque Royal Palace. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and retire for the day.

After breakfast, our sightseeing which brings us to the famous street of Calle Gran Via and Plaza de Espana, Puerta del Sol (Gateway to the Sun) and the Alcala, Fuente de Neptuno in the Pasea del Prado with a statue of Neptune standing on a chariot wielding a trident. Plaza de la Cibeles famous for its fountains and surrounded by some of the city’s most important monuments – Bourbon’s Royal Palace, Santiago Bernabeu stadium and Madrid Giant Bull Ring. In the evening, we shall relax and dine over a Tapas dinner.

After breakfast, we shall depart Madrid for Salamanca via Segovia. Firstly, enjoy designer outlet shopping at Las Rozas Village near Madrid, from home to luxury fashion with up to 60% off. Thereafter, Drive down to Segovia which is famous for its suckling pig called cochinillo. Arrive in Segovia and we shall have the chance to visit the Roman Aqueduct, one of the best-preserved elevated Roman aqueducts. It is the foremost symbol of Segovia, as evidenced by its presence on the city’s coat of arms. After a wonderful world famous Suckling pig lunch, we shall continue our journey to Salamanca. Upon arrival, enjoy a orientation tour in Salamanca that brings us to the Cathedral, the University and the Plaza Mayor – one of Spain’s most popular square.

Today, we shall travel to Fatima which is the world renowned place of pilgrimage in the Catholic World. Our sightseeing in Fatima brings us to the famous Fatima’s Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary. Next, is the Chapel of Apparitions. Round up the tour in Fatima with a stop at the Berlin Wall which was placed as a memorial of God’s intervention for the fall of communism as promised at Fatima. This afternoon, you might want to consider a self expense excursion to visit the city of Tomar. Tomar is an intriguing and fascinating Portuguese town, a charming and quaint town but during the 13th century Tomar was one of the most influential towns of the Iberian Peninsula.

Bid farewell to Fatima as we travel to Lisbon via Cabo da Roca and Sintra. Today, we shall not miss the chance to visit the westernmost point of mainland Europe, Cabo da Roca. Located at latitude 38º 47´north and longitude 9º 30´west, Cabo da Roca is an important coordinate for those sailing along the coast, as it is the most westerly point of mainland Europe, a fact borne out by the certificates that visitors take away as a souvenir. Around 150 metres above the sea, here you can have a panoramic view over the Serra de Sintra and the coast, which makes it worth the visit. Thereafter, continue to Lisbon, the Capital of Portugal via Sintra. Our guided sightseeing tour in Lisbon brings us to the bank of River Tagus and we see the Monument to the Discoveries. Here, we will be reminded of the time the great Portuguese navigators ventured into uncharted waters and founded new continents. See the Ponte 25 de Abril – the Golden Gate Bridge of Lisbon, the Tower of Belem, Jeronimos Monastry (Please note that Tower of Belem and Jeronimos is closed on every Monday. In the event that it is closed, our company reserves the right to replace with other places of interest for the group), Rossio Square and Marques de Pombal Square.

After breakfast, we travel by coach to Seville, one of Spain’s most colourful cities and is the Capital of Andalusia. Our afternoon’s sightseeing today brings us to the impressive Seville Cathedral, built in Gothic styles and the largest in Spain. This is also the burial place of Christopher Columbus. Wander at the Maria Luisa park, Plaza de Espana and the old Jewish Quarter of Santa Cruz District.

Today, make our way to Ronda, the ancient city located about 750 meters above sea level, and make a beeline for the Puento Nuevo bridge to enjoy a thrilling view of the 100-metre deep El Tajo gorge and a breathtaking panorama over the Serranía de Ronda mountains. Visit the Plaza de Toros de Ronda, oldest bullrings in Spain. After lunch, we shall continue onwards to Granada with a view of the Alhambra – a palace built by the Moorish Kinds. You will treasure the memory of its architectural beauty. Next, we will continue to visit the Arabic gardens and fountains, Generalife. The Palacio de Generalife was the summer palace and country estate of the Nasrid rulers of the Emirate of Granada in Al-Andalus, now beside the city of Granada in the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain. Today evening, you shall be treated to a passionate Flamenco dance performance from the Flamenco dancers while we enjoy our dinner.

This morning, we shall transfer to Valencia which is Spain’s 3rd largest city via Guadix. Do not blink your eyes as we pass by the area of Guadix where you will be able to see the inhabitants of Guadix living in a cave house. Thereafter, continue our journey to Valencia. Our sightseeing in Valenica today brings us to the bustling Town Hall Square. Nearby to the Town Hall Square, you can see the 14th Century gates of Serranos and Quart. We shall then round up our tour in Valencia today with a visit to one of the most important building found in Valencia – the Cathedral and Little Michael Tower. Tonight, enjoy the local delight originated from Valencia – The seafood Paella.

This morning, drive toward Barcelona passing by Peniscola. Welcome to Barcelona! Home to Gaudi masterpieces, world-class art galleries and shopper-heaven Las Ramblas, Barcelona is Spain’s buzzing cultural capital. Our sightseeing today brings us to the famous Gaudi’s extraordinary Sagrada Familia No visit to Barcelona would be complete without admiring the Sagrada Família. Next, view the Statue of Columbus at the Pier, go up to the hillside of Sant Monjuich to see the Olympic Marina. Enjoy some free at leisure shopping time at El Corte Inglese Diagonal.
