Assemble at Singapore Changi International Airport for your flight to Rome – The Eternal City
Welcome to Rome, the Eternal City. This capital city stands on the Tiber River and enjoys a long and celebrated history. Your included sightseeing tour with a Local Specialist begins at the World’s largest cathedral, St. Peter’s Basilica (Outside view). Next, continue to visit Palazzo Massimo alle Terme (National Roman Museum). The palace is the main seat of the museum as well as the headquarters of the Agency of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities of Italy, in charge for the archaeological heritage of Rome. The museum houses the ancient art (sculptures, paintings, mosaics and goldsmiths’ crafts from the Republican Age to the Late Antiquity) as well as the numismatic collection. Thereafter, your tour continues with views of ancient Roman ruins including the enormous Colosseum. Lastly, we make a stop at the Fountain of Trevi where you may want to throw a coin into the fountain and make a wish! After dinner, transfer to hotel for our overnight stay.

After breakfast, we shall depart Venice as we drive towards Florence via Pisa. Upon arrival, we shall start our orientation tour in Pisa with a visit to the incredible Piazza del Duomo – a must for every tourist. Enjoy the spectacular view of the Pisa Cathedral, Pisa baptistery and the world famous Leaning of Pisa. Thereafter, continue to Florence. Arrive in Florence – a great city where Renaissance Art and Culture flourished for centuries. Enjoy a Florence walking tour with a stop at Piazzale Michelangelo for a superb view of Florence. Next, is the lofty Santa Maria Cathedral, then continue on to see the Doors of Paradise at the Baptistry of Giovanni, a matchless work of bronze which took 27 years to complete!

After breakfast, transfer to Venice. we will introduces you to ‘hidden Venice’ – the back lanes and ‘campi’, small squares, where tourists often tread. Today you’ll explore this dazzling city on a walking tour of the city. View the sights of the city including the Gothic cathedral, the glass domed Galleria and La Scala Opera House. Not to be missed is the Milan Duomo Square, which is the core of Milan.

This morning we continue on our journey to Lucerne, Switzerland. Drive to the beautiful town of Engelberg for a series of cable cars to the snow-capped Mount Titlis. Conitune with an orientation tour in Lucerne includes a photostop at the Lion Monument – a masterful stone sculpture in honour of the heroic Swiss Guards of Louis XVI during the French Revolution. Next, visit the renovated 14th Century covered wooden Chapel Bridge which depicts the local history. Some free time to shop for delectable chocolate and glamorous Swiss watches in Bucherer, one of Europe’s biggest watch and jewellery retail chains. Bucherer today offers an international clientele probably the largest choice of Rolex watches anywhere and a wide choice of luxury watches from well-known brands.

Today, we shall board the Luzern–Interlaken Express that turns the journey from one city to the other into a great experience. During a train ride of roughly two hours, you will marvel at five crystal clear mountain lakes that gather the waters from various rivers and waterfalls. With good reason, the Luzern–Interlaken Express is part of the scenic GoldenPass Line leading to Interlaken. Arrive at picture-postcard Interlaken, a Bernese Oberland resort beautifully situated between two sparkling lakes and beneath the towering Jungfrau.

After breakfast, we shall continue our journey to the inspiration of the fashion world – Paris. In the mid 19th century, Baron Haussmann transformed much of medieval Paris into a modern city. Firstly, visit the roof of the Montparnasse Tower in Paris! Enjoy stunning panoramic views of the city, including the Eiffel Tower. See all the main sights in Paris today that will cover the glorious Arc De Triomphe that was erected in 1806 as a memorial to his victorious army. Next, we proceed to one of the largest squares in the world – Place de La Concorde. We then drive down the bustling Champs Elysees.
