Welcome to Sarajevo – Capital and the largest city of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sarajevo is surrounded by the Dinaric Alps and bisected by the Miljacka River. You will embark on a walking tour to explore this wonderful city which includes the War Tunnel – Tunnel of Hope and the enchanting Old Town (Bascarsija). After which we shall enjoy a hearty dinner before we retire for the night at the hotel.

After breakfast, begin the day with a drive towards Mostar where our local guide will show us the remains of the Turkish Quarter and the 16th Century Old Bridge (Stari Most). Next, continue onwards with a scenic drive into the rugged beauty of the Neretva Valley where we shall arrive at the well preserved Croatian Medieval City as well as the Liveliest Town in Dalmatia – Dubrovnik for our tour. Stroll into traffic free Old Town and see the Rector’s Palace, the City Walls, Onofrio’s Fountain as well as UNESCO World Heritage sites of the Franciscan & Dominican Monasteries. Dubrovnik and its five bastions are sure to cast a spell on you.

Free at own leisure. You may wish to embark on an optional half-day trip to Montenegro – a small mountainous country bordering Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Explore the stunning coastal town of Kotor to find one of the most spectacular landscapes.

Today, drive through the Dalmatian costal route from Dubrovnik to Split. Founded by the Emperor Diocletian in AD 305 when he built a palace for his retirement, we will enjoy an in-depth sightseeing tour of this gracious city by the sea. Visit Diocletian’s Palace – a well preserved fortress once encircled by 750 foot walls. Highlights inside include remains of the original palace and the Temple of Jupiter.

Continue to Zadar and we shall have an orientation sightseeing tour of this beautiful Zadar City which was formerly under Venetian Domination for centuries and belonged to the Republic of Croatia after World War 1.

This morning after breakfast, we shall bid farewell to the lovely Zadar as we travel towards Croatia’s best-known national park – Plitvice Lakes National Park. Upon arrival, we shall enjoy a scenic walk with a local guide through breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder. Its 16 coloured lakes, wooded hills, wooden paths and foot bridges, waterfalls, and cascades make it one of Europe’s most famous and well-loved national parks.

This morning, transfer to Zagreb – Capital and the largest city of the Republic of Croatia. Upon arrival, we shall enjoy a guided tour of Croatia’s capital including Roosevelt Square, the beautiful facades of Ban Josip Jelacic Square and the medieval upper town, the Presidential Palace, Stone Gate and Pope’s Tower.

This morning, head towards the beautiful Lake Bled – lake in the Julian Alps in northwestern Slovenia where it adjoins to the town of Bled. This area is a popular tourist destination for its magnificent view and beautiful scenery. Enjoy our time in Lake Bled before we make our return to Ljubljana.

Begin our travel to undoubtedly one of the highlights of this tour – the Postojna Caves. Your visit is comprised of a Train Ride, together with a walking tour which allows you to see what is possibly Europe’s most extensive and best-preserved and well known cave. Thereafter, cross border into Venice with a visit to the Noventa Designer Outlet, which offers a great range of designer labels at discounted prices of up to 70%. Retire for the day afterwards.
