Our sightseeing today brings us to the famous Ramblas, Diagonal Avenue, Gaudi’s extraordinary Sagrada Familia Church, Statue of Columbus at the Pier, go up to the hillside of Monjuich to see the Olympic Marina. Thereafter, some free time on your own to explore this cosmopolitan coastal city. You may consider taking a stroll at the Gothic District, visit Picasso Musuem or go for a shopping spree till it is time to meet and settle down for our dinner.
This morning, after breakfast, we shall transfer to Valencia which is Spain’s 3rd largest city. Our sightseeing in Valenica today brings us to the bustling Town Hall Square. Nearby to the Town Hall Square, you can see the Bull Ring, the Town Hall and the 14th Century gates of Serranos and Quart. Next, not to be missed is the La Lonja which was declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We shall then round up our tour in Valencia today with a visit to one of the most important building found in Valencia – the Cathedral and Little Michael Tower. Tonight, we shall sit back, relax and enjoy a Seafood Paella Dinner.
This morning, we bid farewell to Valencia as we continue with our journey to Granada with a tour of the Alhambra – a summer palace built by the Moorish Kinds. You will treasure the memory of its architectural beauty, a world of fantasy of “lace in stone,’ surrounded by Arabic gardens and fountains, Generalife.
Bid farewell to Granada this morning as we travel to Gibraltar to enjoy the views of the famous Rock before we take the Algeciras ferry to disembark at Ceuta and continue our journey to Tangier for our dinner and overnight stay.
This morning, we shall transfer to Fez and enjoy a sightseeing taking us to the Royal Palace and the medieval Medina with its Attarine and Bou Anania Medersas, the Nejjarine Fountain, the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum and the Karaouine Mosque. Enjoy the atmosphere of this exotic city with time to haggle over beautiful Moroccan carpets – an everlasting souvenir! Rest of the day is free at your own leisure to relax and stroll around under the star-studded skies.
This morning, we continue on our coach journey to Casablanca, scene of Bogart’s most magical moments. Here, we can find some of North Africa’s best beaches! Arrive in Casablanca and we shall make a stop at the Corniche where we can view the beautiful Mosque. Next, we visit the Casbah to explore its maze of twisted streets and alleys with stalls of spices, beaten brass and famous Moroccan leather.
This morning, we shall drive along the Atlantic Coast to Rabat. An orientation tour in Rabat shows us the Royal Mosque, Mausoleum and the Royal Palace. Bid farewell to Rabat as we travel back to Tangier. Upon arrival, free at own leisure till time for dinner.
Today, we shall depart by coach as we enjoy the scenery of Sierra de Aracena as we head to Seville, Spain. Our sightseeing today brings us to the impressive Seville Cathedral, built in Gothic styles and the largest in Spain. This is also the burial place of Christopher Columbus. See the great Giralda Tower with its intricate decoration. Wander at the Maria Luisa park, Plaza de Espana and the old Jewish Quarter of Santa Cruz District. Thereafter, enjoy our dinner before we retire for the night. You may want to consider joining an optional tour to watch a typical Flamenco dance of Andalusia.
Bid farewell to Seville as we travel to Lisbon – the Capital of Portugal. Our guided sightseeing tour in Lisbon brings us to the bank of River Tagus and we see the Monument to the Discoveries. Here, we will be reminded of the time the great Portuguese navigators ventured into uncharted waters and founded new continents. See the Ponte 25 de Abril – the Golden Gate Bridge of Lisbon, the Tower of Belem, Jeronimos Monastry (Please note that Tower of Belem and Jeronimos is closed on every Monday. In the event that it is closed, our company reserves the right to replace with other places of interest for the group), Rossio Square and Marques de Pombal Square.
Today, we shall travel to Fatima which is the world renowned place of pilgrimage in the Catholic World. Our sightseeing in Fatima Our Lady of the Rosary. Next, is the Chapel of Apparitions. Round up the tour in Fatima with a stop at the Berlin Wall which was placed as a memorial of God’s intervention for the fall of communism as promised at Fatima.
This morning, we shall drive on from Fatima to Salamanca. Upon arrival, enjoy a walking tour in Salamanca that brings us to the Cathedral, the University and the Plaza Mayor – one of Spain’s most popular square. After that, enjoy a hearty dinner before we retire for the day.
After breakfast, we travel to Madrid for our sightseeing which brings us to the famous street of Calle Gran Via and Plaza de Espana, Puerta del Sol (Gateway to the Sun) and the Alcala, Fuente de Neptuno in the Pasea del Prado with a statue of Neptune standing on a chariot wielding a trident. Plaza de la Cibeles famous for its fountains and surrounded by some of the city’s most important monuments – Bourbon’s Royal Palace, University Area and Madrid Giant Bull Ring. In the evening, we shall relax and dine over a Tapas dinner.
