• DAY 01 SINGAPORE – BUCHAREST

  Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Bucharest where our Balkan explore begins!

• DAY 02 BUCHAREST – BRASOV

  (Dinner)

  Welcome to Bucharest! Bucharest is the capital municipality, cultural, industrial, and financial centre of Romania. It is the largest city in Romania and a primate city. Upon arrival, depart Bucharest for Brasov.

• DAY 03 BRASOV – SIBIU

  (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinnner)

  This morning, we will visit the main city square (Piata Sfatului) and Black Church that got its name after a fire has blackened its walls in 1689. Visit the Bran castle also known as the Dracula’s castle. Rising above the town on a rocky promontory, Bran Castle holds visitors in thrall. An entire industry has sprouted around describing it as ‘Dracula’s Castle’, though connections to either the historical Vlad Ţepeş or Bram Stoker’s fictional vampire are thin. The liberties taken with Bran’s reputation are quickly forgotten on a visit: you’ll climb up its conical towers, admiring views over thick forest, and stroll through creaky-floored rooms furnished with bearskin rugs and 19th-century antiques.Thereafter, continue driving to Sibiu – a city which was the European Capital of Culture in 2007 for its architecture.

  Upon arrival, we will enjoy a guided tour of Sibiu city, with buildings dating back to 12^th century. Admire beautiful medieval buildings, where passionate young lovers meet at Bridge of Lies, the 1^st wrought iron bridge in Romania, built in 1859. We will have lunch and we will drive to SIbiu for our overnight stay.

• DAY 04 SIBIU – BUCHAREST

  Today, depart Sibiu for Bucharest. Upon arrival, our sightseeing tour will bring us to the largest building in Europe – Palace of Parliament, the Triumphal Arch, Revolution Square, Palace Square, Stavropoleos Church and the Old Centre. Enjoy a nice walk kiseleff area (If time permits) before we enjoy our dinner.

• DAY 05 BUCHAREST – PLEVEN

  This morning, we shall make our way to Pleven, Bulgaria. Sightseeing tour of Pleven – the city center, St Nicolas Church, Mausoleum ossuary, dedicated to all Russian soldiers and Bulgarian volunteers who took participation in the Russo-Turkish war. Visit of Pleven Panorama, the one-of–a-kind monument on the Balkan Peninsula, built in honor of the 100th anniversary of Bulgaria’s Liberation from the Ottoman Empire.

• DAY 06 PLEVEN – SOFIA

  (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinnner)

  Today,drive on to Sofia, the capital and largest city of Bulgaria. On arrival, we shall enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of the city center, including visit to Alexander Nevski Cathedral – one of the largest Eastern Orthodox cathedrals in Europe, as well as one of Sofia’s symbols and a primary tourist attraction; St. George Rotunda, St. Sophia Church, built by the Roman Emperor Justinian in the 6th century, National Theatre, former Royal Palace, today housing the National Revival Art Gallery and the Ethnographic Museum. Thereafter, depart for Skopje, the capital city of Macedonia. Skopje was an important city for the Ottomans from the end of the 14th century. The Skopje of today retains that influence and is a thriving modern city. The largest Turkish bath in the Balkans is located here and is now an art museum. We will also visit the old Turkish Bazaar and the National Museum.

• DAY 07 SOFIA – ISTANBUL

  Today, transfer to the Airport and get ready for the flight to Istanbul.

• DAY 08 ISTANBUL – CAPPADOCIA

  ( Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner )

  This morning, continue to the next flight to Cappadocia. visit Underground City of Kaymakli, once a place of refuge for 15,000 Christians, witness their ancient bedrooms, church, meeting hall and food storage rooms all within this eight-storey city connected by 30km of corridors and passageways.  Next, do not miss this rare opportunity to experience the beauty and work of local hand-made crafts through a Turkish carpet weaving course.  Thereafter, make a visit to the fascinating frescoed rock churches and chapels at Goreme Open-Air Museum, to explore the unusual troglodyte dwellings, remains of the early churches comprising of complicated rooms hollowed out of the cones of volcanic ash and decorated with scratched frescoes.  Photo-stops will be made at Uchisar “castle” village, a fantasyland of strange and wonderful works of man and nature.  Then, proceed to their local Cave House and Avanos Pottery Village, set on the banks of the Kizilimak (Red River).  After dinner, a fascinating Belly Dancing and Folkdance performances awaits you.

• DAY 09 CAPADOCCIA – KONYA – PAMUKKALE

  Today, visit the museum of 13th century Philosopher Melvana Celaleddin-i Rumi, which used to be the cloister for Mevlevi Dervishes.  Mevlana was a philosopher and mystic of Islam, but not a Muslim of the orthodox type.  His doctrine advocates unlimited tolerance, positive reasoning, goodness, charity and awareness through love.  To him and to his disciples all religious are more or less truth.  Looking with the same eye on Muslim, Jew and Christian alike, his peaceful and tolerant teaching has appealed to men of all sects and creeds.

• DAY 10 PAMUKKALE – KUSADASI

  (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

  After breakfast, we shall start our Pamukkale tour(Cotton Castle), visit the extensive ruins of Hierapolis & Necropolis – known for its thermal baths and health centre. Thereafter, see “Cotton Castle” or Pamukkale’s magical and unique terraces & castles created by deposits of white limestone from thermal springs. Next, transfer to Kusadasi. Visit the House of Virgin Mary, where she is believed to have spent her last years. Next, we set off for Selcuk and explore Ephesus ancient city, one of the world’s most outstanding archaeological sites.  Walk in its well-preserved marble streets to the Library of Celsius, the Odeon, Grand Theatre, Temple of Hadrian, Roman Bath etc.

• DAY 11 KUSADASI – PERGAMON – CANAKKALE

  (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

  After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the ancient roman city of Pergamon, famous for the steepest theatre in Turkey, Trajan Temple,

  Atena Temple, Agora and Pergamon Palace. Thereafter, transfer to the ancient city of Troy and the infamous tourist attraction in Troy, of course, is the Trojan Horse.  This is a replica wooden horse that was given to the Trojans by the Greek Army. Overnight at Canakkale.

• DAY 12 CANAKKALE – ISTANBUL

  (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

  This morning, visit Hippodrome (Sultanahmet Square) decorated by obelisks and monument brought in from Egypt.  Visit Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmet 1 Mosque) is the masterwork of Otoman Turkish architecture. Visit the magnificent St. Sofia Museum, which has been a cathedral under Roman Constantine and a mosque under the Turks. Visit Topkapi Palace – a museum palace filled with wide collections of porcelains, treasuries, religious collections.  It is the first Great Imperial Palace of Ottoman Dynasty.

• DAY 13 ISTANBUL – SINGAPORE

  (Breakfast)

  Free at leisure till we transfer to the Airport.
