DAY 02 NICE (MOB)
Welcome to Nice. Upon arrival this afternoon, we
shall transfer to our hotel for check in and rest of
the day is free at your own leisure. (Please note

DAY 03 NICE – ST TROPEZ – TOULON ( B / D )
After a nice and hearyt breakfast this morning, we shall depart from Nice as we travel to Toulon via an orientation tour in St Tropez.
DAY 04 TOULON – MARSEILLE – ARLES – NIMES ( B / D )
After breakfast, we shall depart Toulon as we continue on our journey to Nimes via Marseille – the administrative capital of the Provence-Alpes- Cote d’Azur region and also the largest commercial port in France. Our highlights in Marseille is the Notre Dame de la Garde, 19th Century Basilica offering an exceptional view of the city, the islands of the Frioul and the castle. Next, we pass by the Historical Monument to the villages of traditional fishermen of Callelongue and Goudes. Then, drive to the Roman city of Arles, where you will see the Roman Amphitheatre and the Romanesque Cathedral.Enjoy a guided walk which will include many associations with the great artist Vincent Van Gogh.
DAY 05 NIMES – AVIGNON – AIX-EN- PROVENCE ( B / L )
Today, we shall travel from Nimes to Aix-En- Provence via Avignon. Here, we shall revisit the captivating religious history of Avignon, which was once the medieval capital of the Western World and a UNESCO World Heritage City.
Today, we shall visit the awe-inspiring Palace of the Popes, the Papal residence during the 14th century. The Palace was built in less then 20 years, starting in 1335. The first part was built by Pope Benedict XII whose work was continued by Pope Clement VI. The Palace of the Popes is the biggest Gothic palace in the world. Next, visit the remains of the Saint Benezet Bridge which occupies a sacrosanct place in Catholic legend as a site of miracles. This was built in the 12th Century. Wars and Rhone river flood waters did great damage and the bridge was consistently rebult over the centuries before being abandoned in the 17th Century. Today, only 5 of the original 22 arches remain standing. Then, we continue to Aix-En- Provence, known as the most popular provincial city in France.
DAY 06 AIX-EN-PROVENCE – GRASSE – CANNES ( B / D )
An orientation tour in Aix-En-Provence this morning will reveal that Aix is a vibrant student city abundant in elegant 19th Century architecture. See Place de la Rotonde and the Cours Mirabeau, naturally steaming warm water fountains and wonderful shops and boutiques. Then, we continue to Cannes where you will see the Film Festival Centre on the Boulevard de la Croisrette.
DAY 07 CANNES – MONTE CARLO – MENTON ( B / D )
This morning, we shall depart Cannes and transfer to Menton for our overnight stay via Monaco and not missing the famous Monte Carlo Casinos, St Nicholas Cathedral which is the burial site of actress Grace Kelly and her husband. Constructed in the late 1800s, the Cathedral is an important local landmark and features a white exterior and beautiful Carrar-marble altar. Then, we arrive in Menton for our dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 08 MENTON – MILAN ( B / D )
This morning, we shall depart Menton for Milan – a bustling and cosmopolitan city of fashion and organizer of numerous trade fairs. Our sightseeing in Milan brings us to the Gothic Cathedral and the famous La Scala Opera House. Not to be missed is the Milan Duomo Square, which is the core of Milan. If time permits, you may want to shop at the famous 19th Century Gallery Victor Emmanuel 2nd, a large glass-roofed building often called the living room of Milan, enhance by the elegance of some of Milan’s finest stores before we settle down for our dinner.
DAY 09 MILAN – VERONA – VENICE ( B / D )
This morning, we shall depart Milan as we continue our journey to Venice via Verona, which is the home of Shakespeare’s starcrossed lovers. Here, we make a stop to admire the Roman arena and Juliet’s Balcony before we continue to Venice, a famous city of canals, gondolas and fantastic palaces, uniquely erected on an archipelago of 177 islands and characterized by its numerous canals. Our sightseeing in Venice covers the principal monuments around St Mark’s Square, the Basilica, the pink and white marbled Doges Palace and the world renowned Bridge of Sighs. Lastly, we make a stop at one of the finest glass blowing factories where richly decorated Ventian glass is made to world-class standard. Tonight, you may want to consider joining an optional gondola serenade along the quietly lit canals.
DAY 10 VENICE – FLORENCE – PRATO ( B / D )
After breakfast, we depart Venice as we continue to travel to the staggering riches Florence – a great city where Renaissnace Art and Culture flourished for centuries. Enjoy a Florence walking tour with a stop at Piazzale Michelangelo for a superb view of Florence. Next, is the lofty Santa Maria Cathedral, then continue to see the Doors of Paradise at the Baptistry of Giovanni, a matchless work of bronze which took Ghiberti 27 years to complete.
DAY 11 PRATO – PISA – ROME ( B / D )
This morning, we shall continue on our journey to Rome, but not without making a stop at Pisa first with a view of the Incredible Leaning Tower of Pisa which is a must for every tourist! Thereafter, we continue to Rome where we may have some free time for shopping or photo taking of this Eternal City till it is time to settle down for our dinner.
DAY 12 ROME ( B / L )
This morning, we start our sightseeing tour of Rome as we proceed to the Vatican State and visit St Peter’s Basilica, the most famous church in the Christian World! Travel to the Famous Colosseum which once used to seat 50,000 spectators. Built in 72AD, it is the chief circus of the Roman Empire, scene of gladiatorial battles and her cruel glories of the Capital. Next, we proceed to the Roman Forum and the Victor Emmanuel Monument. Lastly, we shall make a stop at the Fountain of Trevi where you may want to throw a coin into the fountain and make a wish! After lunch, it is free at your own leisure for some last minute shopping.
DAY 13 ROME – SINGAPORE ( B )
Free at leisure till transfer to Rome Inernational Airport for your departure flight back home to Singapore.
DAY 14 SINGAPORE
