Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport and get ready to embark on your long awaited trip to Greece.
Upon arrival at Athens airport, meet and greet by your representative and transfer drive to Delphi, located on the slopes of Mount Parnasus, via Thebes, Levadia and the village of Arachova. In a landscape of unparalleled beauty and majesty Delphi, once believed as the centre, “Naval” of the Earth, is the home of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. During the ancient times, at the oracle of Apollo, Pythia, the high priestess of the temple, under the influence of the ancient god delivered her famous prophesies. You will visit the Treasury of the Athenians, the temple of Apollo and the Delphi Museum, which hosts valuable pieces of Ancient Greek sculpture such as the bronze Charioteer and the famous athlete Aghias.

After breakfast, depart and visit two of the breathtaking monasteries of Meteora where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Perched on huge granite rocks, the monasteries seem to suspend between earth and sky, providing a magnificent view. Each monastery contains priceless historical and religious treasures.

After breakfast, depart to Athens bypassing Trikala, Lamia and Thermopylae where a stop will be made to visit the memorial of Leonidas and the brave 300 Spartians. You can spend your day in Plaka, the oldest historical neighborhood of the city, located at the foot of the Acropolis. This district incorporates and combines buildings that feature neoclassical and traditional Cycladic architecture and the ruins of the Ancient Agora.

Enjoy your breakfast and at indicated time depart for your sightseeing tour of Athens. Our guide will take you to see the highlights of the city: the Constitution Square (Syntagma), the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier guarded by the Evzones and the National library. On your way to the Acropolis you will also see Hadrian’s Arch, the Temple of Olympian Zeus and have a short stop at the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Modern Olympic Games were held in 1896. On the Acropolis visit architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally, the eternal Parthenon “the harmony between material and spirit”, the monument that “puts order in the mind”. You will also see the ancient theatres of Dionysos and the Herodion (no entry).

Today, fly to Istanbul. We depart to Canakkale, cross Dardanelle by boat for your overnight stay in Canakkale.
After breakfast at the hotel, drive the ancient city of Troy and the infamous tourist attraction in Troy, of course, is the Trojan Horse. This is a replica wooden horse that was given to the Trojans by the Greek Army. Then visit the ancient roman city of Pergamon, famous for the steepest theatre in Turkey, Trajan Temple, Atena Temple, Agora and Pergamon Palace.
We start our day with an upbeat fashion show showcasing high quality leather products made in Turkey. Visit the House of Virgin Mary, where she is believed to have spent her last years. Next, we set off for Selcuk and explore Ephesus ancient city, one of the world’s most outstanding archaeological sites. Walk in its well-preserved marble streets to the Library of Celsius, the Odeon, Grand Theatre, Temple of Hadrian, Roman Bath etc. After lunch, we depart for Pamukkale (Cotton Castle), visit the extensive ruins of Hierapolis & Necropolis – known for its thermal baths and health centre. Thereafter, see “Cotton Castle” or Pamukkale’s magical and unique terraces & castles created by deposits of white limestone from thermal springs. Enjoy your overnight stay in Pamukkale Thermal Hotel.
Today, visit the museum of 13th century Philosopher Melvana Celaleddin-i Rumi, which used to be the cloister for Mevlevi Dervishes. Mevlana was a philosopher and mystic of Islam, but not a Muslim of the orthodox type. His doctrine advocates unlimited tolerance, positive reasoning, goodness, charity and awareness through love. To him and to his disciples all religious are more or less truth. Looking with the same eye on Muslim, Jew and Christian alike, his peaceful and tolerant teaching has appealed to men of all sects and creeds.
Early this morning just before your breakfast, if you are ready for some excitement, you may consider trying out the possible optional Hot Air Balloon experience. Then after breakfast at the hotel, visit Underground City of Kaymakli, once a place of refuge for 15,000 Christians, witness their ancient bedrooms, church, meeting hall and food storage rooms all within this eight-storey city connected by 30km of corridors and passageways. Next, do not miss this rare opportunity to experience the beauty and work of local hand-made crafts through a Turkish carpet weaving course. Thereafter, make a visit to the fascinating frescoed rock churches and chapels at Goreme Open-Air Museum, to explore the unusual troglodyte dwellings, remains of the early churches comprising of complicated rooms hollowed out of the cones of volcanic ash and decorated with scratched frescoes. Photo-stops will be made at Uchisar “castle” village, a fantasyland of strange and wonderful works of man and nature. Then, proceed to their local Cave House and AvanosPottery Village, set on the banks of the Kizilimak (Red River). After dinner, a fascinating Belly Dancing and Folkdance performances awaits you.

Today, transfer to the Airport and get ready for the flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival, visit Hippodrome (Sultanahmet Square) decorated by obelisks and monument brought in from Egypt. Visit Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmet 1 Mosque) is the masterwork of Otoman Turkish architecture. Visit the magnificent St. Sofia Museum, which has been a cathedral under Roman Constantine and a mosque under the Turks. Visit Topkapi Palace – a museum palace filled with wide collections of porcelains, treasuries, religious collections. It is the first Great Imperial Palace of Ottoman Dynasty.
Free at leisure till we transfer to the Airport.
