This evening, you will assemble at Singapore Changi International Airport for your flight to the Capital of the Republic of Croatia – Zagreb.
Welcome to Zagreb – Capital and the largest city of the Republic of Croatia. Upon arrival, we shall enjoy a guided tour of Croatia’s capital including Roosevelt Square, the beautiful facades of Ban Josip Jelacic Square and the medieval upper town, the Presidential Palace, Stone Gate and Pope’s Tower. After that, have a hearty dinner before we retire for the day.
This morning, we shall head towards the beautiful Lake Bled. Lake Bled is a lake in the Julian Alps in northwestern Slovenia, where it adjoins the town of Bled. The area is a popular tourist destination for its magnificent view and beautiful scenery. Thereafter, continue to Ljubljana. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided tour of Ljubljana. The city of Ljubljana is famous for its diverse architecture, including legacies of the Roman. Baroque and Art Nouveau eras, but owes much of its grand style to native born architecture Joze Plecnik, whose vision early in the 20th century transformed his provincial hometown into the capital of the Slovenian nation. We shall enter the old town to view the Opera House, Cathedral, National Museum and Castle. After a well-deserved dinner, we shall make our return back to the hotel for our much-needed night’s rest.
This morning travel to the forested National Park of Plitvice. Admire the breathtaking waterfalls and lakes of this spectacular UNESCO World Heritage site on your walking tour with a Local Specialist. See lakes of crystal clear water in many colourful shades of green, grey and blue which are linked by spectacular waterfalls. This evening arrive at your hotel in Zagreb and enjoy dinner at the hotel.
Depart Plitvice and travel north along the spectacular Adriatic coast, past old fishing villages and new resorts, to Split. Enjoy a city tour with our experience guide featuring the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. See the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle and the Cathedral.
This morning, we shall depart for best-preserved Croatian Medieval City as well as the Liveliest Town in Dalmatia – Dubrovnik – we will enter into the old town which is traffic free. We’ll see the Rector’s Palace, the City Walls, Onofrio’s fountain and the Franciscan & Dominican Monasteries, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Dubrovnik and its five bastions are sure to cast a spell on you.
Today, transfer to port of Dubrovnik for our overnight cruise to Bari!
After breakfast, transfer to Alberobello. Alberobello is a UNESCO World Heritage site – its narrow streets crowded with conical, white-washed trulli, clustered together like mushrooms, constructed entirely without mortar. This region is a paradise for wine-lovers. After that, transfer to Sorrento
This morning, we depart Rome as we continue on our journey to Naples to embark on an excursion by ferry to the Isle of Capri where we will enjoy a walking tour of Capri Town and Gardens, leaving us some time on our own to explore this lovely island. Thereafter, we transfer back to Sorrento for our overnight stay.
This morning, we depart Sorrento as we continue on our journey to Naples via Pompeii. The city of Pompeii was an ancient Roman town-city near modern Naples in the Italian region of Campania, in the territory of the comune of Pompei. Pompeii, along with Herculaneum and many villas in the surrounding area, was mostly destroyed and buried under 4 to 6 m (13 to 20 ft) of ash and pumice in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. You might consider joining an Optional guided tour of the Pompeii Archaeological site at your own expenses. Thereafter, we shall continue to Rome for our overnight stay.
Welcome to Rome, the Eternal City. This capital city stands on the Tiber River and enjoys a long and celebrated history. Your included sightseeing tour with a Local Specialist begins at the World’s largest cathedral, St. Peter’s Basilica. Inside, enjoy the finest art work of the famous Michelangelo “Pietà”. Thereafter, your tour continues with views of ancient Roman ruins including the enormous Colosseum (outside visit). Next, we proceed to the Plaza Venezian, Roman Forum and the Victor Emmanuel Monument. Lastly, we make a stop at the Fountain of Trevi where you may want to throw a coin into the fountain and make a wish! After dinner, transfer to hotel for our overnight stay.
