Assemble at Singapore Changi International Airport for your flight to Milan – The Fashion City
Welcome to Milan, Capital of Italy’s finance and fashion industries. This surprisingly scruffy city offers the best in Italian theatre and clothes. Its origins are believed to be Celtic but it was conquered by Romans in 222BC and became a major trading and transport centre. From the 13th Century, the city flourished under the rules of two powerful families – the Visconti followed by the Storza. Upon arrival, we shall transfer to the hotel for check-in (Standard Check-In Time is at 1500 Hrs. Early check in is subject to room’s availability) and the rest of the day is free at your own leisure.
After breakfast this morning, we shall start our half day sightseeing in Milan which brings us to the Gothic Cathedral and the famous La Scala Opera House. Not to be missed is the Milan Duomo Square, which is the core of Milan. After lunch, you may want to shop at the famous 19th century Gallery Victor Emmanuel 2nd, a large glass-roofed building often called the living room of Milan, enhanced by the elegance of some of Milan’s finest stores.
After breakfast, we shall bid farewell to Milan as we continue to drive to the floating city of Venice via Verona which is the home of Shakespeare’s star-crossed lovers. Here, we make a stop to admire the Roman arena and Juliet’s balcony before we continue onwards to Venice for our dinner.
After breakfast, we shall start to savour the sights and sounds of this serene city on an included canal cruise by motor launch to St Mark’s Square, the Basilica, the pink and white marbled Doges Palace and the world renowned Bridge of Sighs. Lastly, we make a stop at one of the finest glass blowing factories where richly decorated Ventian glass is made to world class standard. Today, you may want to consider joining an optional gondola serenade along the canals with colourful houses. Thereafter, we shall advance to Noventa Factory outlet in Venice for our shopping. Enjoy discounts up to 70% with brands like Prada, Gucci, Ferragamo, Marc Jacobs, Bottega Veneta and many many more.

After breakfast, we shall depart Venice as we drive towards Pisa with a visit to the incredible Leaning Tower – a must for every tourist. Thereafter, continue to drive towards the staggering riches, Florence – a great city where Renaissance Art and Culture flourished for centuries. Enjoy a Florence walking tour with a stop at Piazzale Michelangelo for a superb view of Florence. Next, is the lofty Santa Maria Cathedral, then continue on to see the Doors of Paradise at the Baptistry of Giovanni, a matchless work of bronze which took 27 years to complete!bronze which took 27 years to complete! Thereafter, transfer to Pisa for our overnight stay.
After breakfast, we shall bid farewell to Florence as our morning drive today brings us to the province of Umbria and mystical Assisi, perched on Mount Subasio and overlooking a peaceful Umbrian landscape. This city under the protection of St Francis is still enclosed by medieval ramparts. On our arrival, enjoy a guided walking tour that brings us to the Basilica of St Francis, famous for its fresco paintings depicting the life of this much-loved saint. If time permits, some free time at your own leisure before we transfer back to Rome for our overnight stay.
After breakfast, we shall start our full day guided tour in Rome with a visit to the St Peter’s Basilica. From here, we cross the Tiber into ancient Rome as you travel along the Roman Forum where you see the mighty Colosseum which was originally known as the Flavian Amphitheatre. The Colosseum was where ancient gladiators fought to entertain. Finally, our sightseeing ends with a visit to the Palatine Hill to see the Circus Maximus, the stadium that in Roman times was used for ‘Ben Hur’ style chariot racing.
Free at leisure till we transfer to the Airport. You may want to spend some of your time for last minute shopping in Rome.

This morning, we depart Rome as we continue on our journey to Naples to embark on an excursion by ferry to the Isle of Capri where we will enjoy a walking tour of Capri Town and Gardens, leaving us some time on our own to explore this lovely island. Thereafter, we transfer back to Napoli for our overnight stay.
Today, transfer back to Rome. Free at own leisure upon arrival. This afternoon, you might consider joining an Optional guided tour of the Pompeii Archaeological site at your own expenses. The city of Pompeii was an ancient Roman town-city near modern Naples in the Italian region of Campania, in the territory of the comune of Pompei. Pompeii, along with Herculaneum and many villas in the surrounding area, was mostly destroyed and buried under 4 to 6 m (13 to 20 ft) of ash and pumice in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.
Thereafter, we shall stop at La Reggia outlet for some shopping before we move back to Rome for our overnight stay.
Free at leisure till we transfer back to the Airport. You may want to spend some of your time for last minute shopping in Rome.
