Welcome to Prague! Prague is the capital city and largest city of the Czech Republic. It is one of the larger cities of Central Europe and has served as the capital of the historic region of Bohemia for centuries. Its rich history makes it a popular tourist destination, receiving millions of tourist annually. Today, free at your own leisure for shopping and photo-taking.
This morning, we shall start our day with a half-day guided tour in Prague which will cover the famous Hradcany Castle, the St Vitus Cathedral and the Charles Bridge. Stepping into the Old Town of Prague, you will get to see the 13th Century Gothic Town Hall and the Astronomical Clock right at the centre of the Old Town Square.
After breakfast, we shall travel to Krakow via Brno. Brno was one of the leading centres of experimental architecture in the early 20th century, and the Unesco-protected Vila Tugendhat is considered a masterwork of functionalist design. Here in Brno, some freetime for you to explore this town before we continue to Krakow.
After breakfast, we shall start our half day city tour in Krakow. From Wawel Hill, we will visit its Castle and the Royal Cathedral, continuing on the Royal Route to the Old Town Square, you will have a view of the birthplace of Pope John Paul II The St Mary Basilica and the Medieval Cloth Hall – One of the world’s oldest shopping mall. After lunch, free at own leisure. You might want to join an self expense excursion to Wieliczka Salt mine to explore this oldest mine in Poland.
Continue our journey, we will travel to the Capital of Hungary – Budapest via Banska Bystrica. Surrounded by the Tatra mountain, Banska Bystrica used to be a mining town, now it is listed as one of the beautiful town in Slovakia. A historical city with an easy access to the surrounding mountains, Banská Bystrica is a popular winter and summer tourist destination.
After breakfast, we shall embark on a guided tour that features the famous Heroes Square and St Stephen’s Basilica. Afterwards we proceed on to the Buda side of the Hungary’s Capital to have photo stop at the Matthias Church and Fisherman’s Bastion. Next to it is the Gellert hill which offers the city’s best Panorama. On top, you will find the Liberation Monument built to commemorate the Red Army’s release of Budapest from Nazi’s occupation.
Today, we shall start our day with a visit to the Pandorf Designer Outlet (**If closed, it will be replaced with other itinerary**), it has a great range of designer labels and at discount prices up to 70%. Thereafter, transfer to Bratislava for our overnight stay.
Today, our sightseeing tour in Vienna will bring us to explore the majestic Schonbrunn Palace – a baroque Summer Palace with an astounding 1,441 rooms. Not to be missed are the Vienna Ring and the St Stephen’s Cathedral which is situated in the heart of Old Vienna. In the afternoon take a stroll along their walking street.
